WILSON WOOTTON is an art, design and photography studio working primarily with architects, curators, musicians and visual artists to represent themselves and their work through print- and screen-based media. From our studio in central Europe, we collaborate with clients across Europe, Asia and North America.
ADRIANNE WILSON WOOTTON is a multidisciplinary designer with 24 years of experience working in freelance, institutional and corporate contexts across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Her design work promotes knowledge transfer in the arts and sciences by supporting scientists, architects, artists, and musicians to present their work through print and digital media, animation and video and spatial design. With more than a decade of academic research and teaching experience, she has strong expertise in creative conceptualisation and project leadership. She received her Master of Architecture from UIC (University of Illinois at Chicago) and studied Graphic Design at the North Carolina State University College of Design.
TOBIAS WOOTTON is a German/British artist, lecturer and freelance photographer investigating the built environment through lens-based media, video and installation. His artistic works have been published and featured in various solo and group shows across Europe. His teaching approach, developed over 14 years at institutions such as the ETH Zurich and HSLU, is based on a collaborative platform where students develop their critical voices through careful observation and across artistic media. He has been a guest lecturer at schools of art and architecture in Europe, Asia and the United States and previously taught Media Art at the Karlsruhe University of Art and Design (HfG). Through long-term relationships with architects, artists and cultural institutions like the ZKM, my commissioned work has appeared in numerous publications and archives. I studied Media Art at the HfG and graduated from the MFA programme at the Glasgow School of Art.
