WILSON WOOTTON is an art, design and photography studio working with scientists, architects, curators, visual and performing artists to represent themselves and their work through print- and screen-based media, photographic documentation and physical spaces.
ADRIANNE WILSON WOOTTON is a multidisciplinary designer with 24 years of experience working in freelance, institutional and corporate contexts across Europe, Asia, and the United States. With more than a decade of academic research and teaching experience, she has strong expertise in creative conceptualisation and project leadership. She received her Master of Architecture from UIC (University of Illinois at Chicago) and her Bachelor in Graphic Design from the North Carolina State University College of Design.
TOBIAS WOOTTON is a German/British artist, lecturer and freelance photographer investigating the built environment through lens-based media, video and installation. His artistic works have been published and featured in various solo and group shows across Europe. Through long-term relationships with architects, artists and cultural institutions like the ZKM, his commissioned work has appeared in numerous publications and archives.
His teaching approach, developed over 14 years at institutions such as the ETH Zurich and Hochschule Luzern, is based on a collaborative platform where students develop their critical voices through careful observation and across artistic media. He has been a guest lecturer at schools of art and architecture in Europe, Asia and the United States and previously taught Media Art at the Karlsruhe University of Art and Design (HfG). He studied Media Art at the HfG and graduated from the MFA programme at the Glasgow School of Art.
